A random collection of mostly temporary visual bits and pieces

so anyway, there's a huge amount of very cool and very creative street art about the place in Perth (i know, it took me a while to believe it too) that, by virtue of it's nature, is of the 'here today, gone tomorrow' variety.

somewhere along the way it seemed to become my destiny to at least attempt to document some of this stuff, mainly because most of it occurs nearby either my work, or home, or both, and i therefore pass by it constantly and watch it changing and evolving almost daily.

i am especially fond of the instances where one person's work is altered, added to, or modified by others. though it probably pisses off the original artist no end. having said that, as we're talking about Perth, it's probably done by someone they know anyway.

one more thing. tags are not art. they're not pretty. they're not creative. they're just ugly, stupid and destructive. if you're thinking about tagging something (a door, a wall, my *&^%ing rubbish bin for example) why don't you just go and piss against a lampost like the sad and tragic little boy you are? off you go.....

a lot of these pictures are old and thus the art is dead and gone, but never fear, if it's a good spot then you can guarantee there'll be something else in it's place.......
